In 1928, Narciso Delladio founded the brand, mainly producing leather boots for loggers and hunters in the Fassa and Fiemme regions of Italy. It successfully participated in a commercial exhibition in Milan and received orders for military high boots.
In the 1950s, the current president Francesco Delladio entered the company and began building new factories, launching products under the "LA SPORTIVA" brand, with business spread across various European countries.
In the 1980s, with the development of rock climbing, LA SPORTIVA began producing climbing shoes and became a well-known brand in the global outdoor field.
